Job Fair, Workshops Set To Improve Individual Job Prospects
March 12, 2008 - Collin College has two opportunities for the community to improve their job prospects.
Sponsored by Career Services and Cooperative Work Experience and Student Life, the college will host a Job Fair from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, at the Spring Creek Campus Atrium, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.
The event is free and open to the public.
Full- and part-time employment, professional, technical and service positions will be available. Internships may be available.
Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring their resumes to talk with area employers face to face.
Furthermore, the college is hosting a Job Fair Workshop for those wanting to improve interview skills, spruce up one's resume, make network connections and dress professionally.
The events are scheduled for:
- 1-3 p.m., Monday, March 10, at the Central Park Campus, Room E210, 2200 W. University Drive in McKinney;
- 3-5 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, at the Preston Ridge Campus, Room F148, 9700 Wade Blvd. in Frisco;
- 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, at the Spring Creek Campus, Room J208.
