Emerging Technology Information Session To Be Held June 3

May 20, 2008 - Collin College Business, Information and Engineering Technologies Division will hold an information session about high-tech careers in emerging technology fields from 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, June 3 in the Preston Ridge Campus Heritage Hall Convergence Technology Laboratory, room H-241, 9700 Wade Blvd., in Frisco.

College representatives will discuss how students can increase marketable skills and earn specialized certificates and two-year degrees in information systems, cybersecurity, wireless technologies, Cisco, Microsoft, Voice-over-IP (VoIP), Home Technology Integration (HTI) and Small Office Home Office (SOHO) and the next generation convergence networking technologies. In addition, transfer information will be available for students who are interested in earning bachelors degrees.

Funded by the National Science Foundation, the Collin College Convergence Technology Center is housed with the Cisco Academy Training Center at the Preston Ridge Campus in Frisco.
