Collin College To Host Second Debate Watch At Central Park Campus In McKinney

September 23, 2008 – Collin College has scheduled a second presidential election Debate Watch for 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the Central Park Campus Pike Hall in McKinney.

The Debate Watch is free and open to the public. The Central Park Campus is located at 2200 W. University Drive. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m.

The Debate Watch includes a big-screen presentation of the televised presidential debate followed by a moderated question-and-answer session. Sponsored by Collin College’s Center for Scholarly and Civic Engagement and Student Life, the event is an opportunity for individuals to gather facts and opinions about the presidential candidates in order to make an informed vote in November.

The last day to register to vote for the 2008 presidential election is Monday, Oct. 6 and early voting ensues Monday, Oct. 20-Friday, Oct. 31. Election day is Tuesday, Nov. 4.

The final Debate Watch is set for 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Spring Creek Campus Conference Center, 2800 Spring Creek Parkway, Plano.
