Destination College Workshop Teaches Students How To Pick A Major

January 13, 2009- Do you know what you plan to major in or what your choices are?

When it comes to selecting a major, many students are uncertain about how to make the right decision. To fully prepare for this life-changing choice, students and parents are invited to attend the FREE workshop, Exploring Majors: How to Choose, from 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at the Spring Creek Campus Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, in Plano.

The workshop - sponsored by Collin College's Destination College program - will be led by an experienced certified college counselor and is designed to provide students and parents with a plan on how to match majors with the individual students' interests and career plans, and the best colleges for those majors.
