April 9, 2009 – In celebration of Earth Day, Collin College invites the public to attend Saving Earth, a free event from 4-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21 at the Spring Creek Campus Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, in Plano.

The event will include a viewing of WALL-E, an Oscar-winning animated movie about a robot designed to clean up a waste-covered earth far in the future but soon discovers his own purpose, and an informational session on environmental pollution causes and effects.

Free popcorn and drinks will be provided for the movie followed by additional refreshments.
