Collin College Offers Certified Nurses’ Aide Course

June 3, 2009 - Collin College recently added a Certified Nurses’ Aide (CNA) course.

The course – approved by the Department of Aging and Disabilities -- prepares students for the role of a CNA in healthcare settings with a combination of lecture and clinical instruction.

Once the student completes the course, they will be eligible to take the CNA licensure examination.

Admission into the CNA course is selective and happens two or three times a year. Once admitted, acceptance is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. All courses are at the Central Park Campus, 2200 W. University Drive, McKinney. For an application or more information, visit www.collin.edu/nursing/cna.html.
