A&E's "Interventionist" VanVonderen Makes Visit To Collin College

August 13, 2009 - Collin College will host one of the hosts from the A&E Show "Intervention" at an upcoming lecture.

Jeff VanVonderan, renowned consultant and interventionist, will speak at 7:30 p.m., Monday, 24, at the Spring Creek Campus Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

The event is free and open to the public.

VanVonderen has more than 25 years of working with individuals, families and organizations in areas of addiction, family systems and recovery.

He is one of the featured interventionists on the Emmy-nominated A&E program, and he has published six books including Good News for the Chemically Dependent, Families Where Grace is in Place, When God's People Let You Down, Tired of Trying to Measure Up, The Subtle Power of Spiritual Abuse and Soul Repair: Rebuilding a Spiritual Life. He also has been interviewed on radio and TV programs from across the country.
