Continuing Education Hosts Computer, Technology Open House
August 20, 2009 -- Collin College Continuing Education is hosting open house sessions for those interested in learning about computer and technology courses and certificate programs from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29.
The event is free and open to the public. It will be held at the Courtyard Center for Professional and Economic Development, 4800 Preston Park Blvd. in Plano.
Continuing Education computer and technology courses featured at the open house include: Cisco Networking, CompTIA Certification, Computer Programming C to Java, Building Information Modeling, Digital Photography, Web/Graphic Design Certification, Microsoft MCITP Certification, Oracle DBA Certification and Mainframe Computing.
The open house will provide information resources, and Collin College representatives will be on hand to answer questions. Continuing Education courses and certificate programs provide marketable skills that enable transitioning into a new career or help boost a current career.
