Public Invited To Join Collin College Celebrate Constitution Day

Sept. 4, 2009 – The public is invited to join Collin College’s observance of Constitution Day from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17 at the Spring Creek Campus Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy, in Plano.

This event is free and will feature guest speaker Dr. Daniel Shea, professor of political science and director of the Center for Political Participation at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania.

A question and answer segment also will be included, as well as a simultaneous broadcast from the Spring Creek Campus Conference Center to the Preston Ridge Campus Event Center, 9700 Wade Blvd. in Frisco, and Central Park Conference Center, 2200 W. University Drive in McKinney.

Constitution Day is sponsored by The Department of Political Science, in partnership with Social and Behavioral Sciences, Student Government Association, Student Life, Pearson Education and the Center for Scholarly and Civic Engagement.
