Public Invited To Attend Faculty-Led Event, "Passport To The World: Collin College’s Cultural Connections"
Sept. 10, 2009 – Collin College invites the public to attend Passport to the World: Collin College’s Cultural Connections. During the seven-part series, faculty will focus on different cultures, lifestyles, politics and ways of thinking throughout the world.
All events are free. The first event, Small World: A Journey to All Seven Continents, will be held from noon-1:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 at the Spring Creek Campus Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, in Plano. Juanita Austin, dean of academic affairs and developmental education at the Central Park Campus, will be the faculty presenter.
