Collin College Gallery Offers Photographic Tour Of Europe

October 9, 2009 – THE ARTS gallery will give visitors a new glimpse into European life with a new show from one of Collin College’s photography faculty.

Byrd Williams’ “History of Europe” will be featured from Monday, Oct. 19-Saturday, Nov. 7, at the gallery, located at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

Williams’ work presents a dark walk through the alleyways, pubs, red-light districts, homes and old towns of Europe. The tour includes photographs taken in Belgium, France, England, Scotland, Italy, The Netherlands, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia.

A reception is set from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 21 at the gallery. 

THE ARTS gallery hours are: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
