Dental Hygiene Students Given Scholarships
October 15, 2009 – The North Texas Dental Society recently awarded two Collin College students with scholarship.
- Dental hygiene students Anita Alexander and Kristi Pritchett each received $1,250 scholarship.
- Alexander, of Wylie, just started the program and will graduate in 2011.
- Pritchett, of Denison, is scheduled to graduate in May 2010 from the dental hygiene program.
The North Texas Dental Society is the professional association of dentists in nine counties of Texas, dedicated to serving the public and the profession of dentistry. It is part of a tri-party affiliation with the American Dental Association as the national representative and the Texas Dental Association as the state representative.
Collin’s Dental Hygiene Program is accredited by the American Dental Association’s Council on Dental Accreditation and has been granted the accreditation status of approval without reporting requirements.
