Collin College To Host Interdisciplinary Research Conference

February 1, 2010 – Collin College is providing a venue for undergraduate college students to obtain research and presentation experience at the Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Student Research Conference.

The event is open to all undergraduate students from both two- and four-year institutions. Students who complete their undergraduate degree in December 2009 are eligible for consideration.

The conference is scheduled from 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Friday, April 30, at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

All research submissions are due by Monday, March 1, to the Communications and Humanities office, Room B189 at the Spring Creek Campus in care of Jenny Warren. Students are encouraged to submit their original research, volunteer at the conference or participate on a conference planning committee.

Also, attendees will have the opportunity to network with students and representatives from other universities in addition to bulking up their resume and CV with quality research and presentation experience.
