Education Fair Gives Scoop On AAS Degrees

March 15, 2010 – It is good to make sense of your dollars and your career.

Collin College’s Technical Education Fair 2010 -- “Dollars & Sense: Invest in Your Future” -- is a good opportunity to make heads or tails about choosing a career and budgeting the opportunities and the educational needs to meet those goals.

The free fair is set from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-7 p.m., Monday, March 29, at the Spring Creek Campus atrium, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

The event is open to the public.

Attendees of the Technical Education Fair can talk with academic advisors and faculty about Collin College’s associate of applied science (AAS) degrees and certificates.

Collin College has AAS degrees in a number of areas including animation, biotechnology, business management, child development, computer information systems, culinary arts, health information technology, commercial music, marketing, real estate, surgical technology and more.

Also, meet with university representatives to discuss how technical degrees transfer.

The Technical Education Fair is sponsored by Collin College Advising, ACCESS, Global EDGE and Destination College.
