Start You Up: Those Interested In Collin College Invited To Workshop

March 25, 2010 – Students looking into Collin College for a higher education experience are invited to an upcoming free workshop.

Destination College is hosting “Getting Started at Collin College” from 6:30-8 p.m., Thursday, April 8, at the Spring Creek Campus Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, in Plano.

The event is open to any student and parents no matter where they plan to attend college.

“Getting Started at Collin College” will be led by representatives from various student service departments to answer questions about admission, testing, advising and more.

Destination College is a Collin College initiative that helps high school students and their parents to get ready for college, no matter which institution they choose.

This event is one of a series of workshops scheduled to help high school students prepare for college.
