Special Art Show Scheduled For Collin College Professor

April 10, 2010 – THE ARTS gallery presents a special showcase of the work of Rebecca Reagan Boatman, professor of art at Collin College.

Her new show, “Preservations,” will be hosted at the Preston Ridge Campus library from Wednesday, April 21-Wednesday, May 12. A reception for professor Boatman’s show is set from 4-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, and she will lecture at 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

“Preservations” is a cross-cultural study of forms and styles from the early Christian, Buddhist and Kota/Fang art.

The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Hours for the exhibit are: Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-11 p.m.; Friday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1-5 p.m.
