Q&A Forums Scheduled About Higher Education Center

April 13, 2010 – Those wondering what that big new building Collin College built at the intersection of Central Expressway and State Hwy. 121 is all about can find out at a series of question-and-answer forums.

Representatives from Collin College and all five of the university partners currently offering programs and classes at the Collin Higher Education Center will take part in panel discussions and answer public questions for prospective students regarding the bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees now available.

The Collin Higher Education Center opened in January 2010. It provides the space for the university partners to offer their classes providing those interested in earning a degree the opportunity to do so in the county.

Forums scheduled include:

  • 7 p.m. – Monday, April 19 – Central Park Campus Pike Hall
  • 7 p.m. – Tuesday, April 20 – Spring Creek Campus Conference Center
  • 7 p.m. – Wednesday, April 21 – Preston Ridge Campus Event Center
  • 1 p.m. – Tuesday, April 27 – Preston Ridge Campus Event Center
  • 1 p.m. – Wednesday, April 28 – Central Park Campus Pike Hall
  • 1 p.m. – Thursday, April 29 – Spring Creek Campus Conference Center

The university partners currently hosting programs at the Collin Higher Education Center are Dallas Baptist University, Texas A&M University-Commerce, Texas Woman’s University, The University of Texas at Dallas and the University of North Texas.

The Central Park Campus is located at 2200 W. University Drive in McKinney; the Preston Ridge Campus is located at 9700 Wade Blvd. in Frisco; and the Spring Creek Campus is located at 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.
