Collin College Names New Vice President

Collin College recently named Brenda Kihl, of Plano, as the new vice president of academic and institutional effectiveness.
April 14, 2010 – Collin College recently named Brenda Kihl, of Plano, as the new vice president of academic and institutional effectiveness. A doctoral candidate in the public affairs program at The University of Texas at Dallas, Kihl holds a bachelor’s degree in cell biology and a master’s degree in education from the University of Minnesota. Previously, Kihl served as associate vice president of strategic initiatives for the college. She began her career at the college in 2000 and served as the director of the Center for Teaching Learning and Professional Development.

Collin College serves more than 46,000 credit and continuing education students annually and offers more than 100 degree and certificate programs. The only public college in the county, Collin College is a partner to business, government and industry, providing customized training and work force development.
