Sail Sets Summer Long Slate Of Events

May 28, 2010 – Collin College’s Seniors Active in Learning (SAIL) program will hosts its annual slate of events over the summer months.

SAIL Summer Learning 2010 is free and open to the public. Most events are at the Courtyard Center located at 4800 Preston Park Blvd., in Plano. The book discussion group is located at the Preston Park Retirement Community, 5000 Old Shepard in Plano.

This year’s line-up for the Brown Bag Lunch Series is Dave Lieber, Thursday, June 10; Vickie Bryant, Thursday, July 8; and Ron Dilulio, Thursday, July 29. The Brown Bag Series will be at the Spring Creek Campus Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

    1-2:30 p.m., June 1-22
  • Fiction Writing
    1:30-3 p.m., June 8 and 22

Wednesday

  • History Series
    1-3 p.m., through June 16
  • Economics
    1-3 p.m., June 23

Thursday

  • Celestin’s Café
    10 a.m.-noon, through June 24
