Two Speakers Bring Variety To Brown Bag Series

June 24, 2010 – Collin College’s Seniors Active in Learning (SAIL) program Brown Bag Lunch Series will host a pair of speakers.

Vickie Bryant will speak Thursday, July 8 and Ron Dilulio will speak Thursday, July 29.

Lunch begins at noon. Lectures begin at 12:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Both events will be at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

Bryant will discuss the story of the most opulent casino in North America, a gambling playground for the rich and famous, predating Las Vegas. It is currently a historic landmark on the campus of Arlington Baptist College.

Dilulio is the director of the University of North Texas Astronomy Laboratory Program and planetarium. He also is an award-winning documentarian and the keyboardist, vocalist and composer for his band, Crawfish.
