New Student Orientations Scheduled At Collin College

July 1, 2010 – All Collin College first-time students – whether you are beginning your academic endeavors or returning to re-career – are encouraged to attend New Student Orientation. New Student Orientation, which is designed for students who have graduated from high school within the past three years, is a one-day program with a purpose to provide a comprehensive overview of the resources and opportunities available at Collin College.

New Student Orientation is from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 15 at Spring Creek Campus (SCC) in Plano; Tuesday, Aug. 3 at Preston Ridge Campus (PRC) in Frisco; Saturday, Aug. 7 at SCC; Thursday, Aug. 12 at Central Park Campus (CPC) in McKinney; and Wednesday, Aug. 18 at SCC.

New Student Orientation dates and locations for non-traditional students – or those returning to college after an extended break and adults starting college for the first time – are from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28 at CPC, Tuesday, Aug. 10 at PRC and Thursday, Aug. 19 at SCC.

New Student Orientation for parents of new students will be held from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7 at SCC and Thursday, Aug. 12 at CPC.
