CE Offers Basic Electricity For HVAC Systems Training
September 3, 2010 – Collin College Continuing Education is offering Basic Electricity for HVAC Systems training Tuesday, Sept. 14-Thursday, Nov. 11.
Class times are 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Courtyard Center, 4800 Preston Park Blvd. in Plano.
The course will entail basic knowledge of HVAC systems and principles of electricity, including electrical current, circuitry and diagrams, diagnostic procedures of HVAC systems, HVAC components, Ohm's law to electrical calculations, continuity, voltage, and current tests with appropriate meters.
Current Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines and electrical safety practices will be emphasized.
The course costs $299.
