Auteur Series Features Film for Hispanic Heritage Month

September 16, 2010 – Collin College’s Auteur Film Series continues to delve into the theme of “(in)justice” with its upcoming screening of The Secret in Their Eyes.

The film will be shown for free at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Angelika Film Center at the Shops at Legacy, 7205 Bishop Road in Plano.

The event is open to the public. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Seating is limited and some material may not be suitable for all audiences.

The Secret in Their Eyes follows retired federal justice agent Benjamin Esposito, who decides to write a novel based on a 20-year-old rape and murder. Believing that the immigrant workers convicted of the crime were forced to confess, Benjamin decides to hunt for the real killer so the case can be formally reopened.

The film is presented in conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month.
