Collin College, League Of Women Voters Host Candidate Forum

Sept. 30, 2010 – Collin College’s Center for Scholarly and Civic Engagement (CSCE) and Volunteer Outreach in Civic Engagement (VOICE) organizations along with The League of Women Voters of Plano/Collin County invite the public to participate in a free candidate forum for the upcoming Nov. 2 General Election from 6:30-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at Collin College’s Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, in Plano.

The forum will include two sessions for Collin County candidates. Session 1 will be from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and features the Collin County Judge, Commissioner and District Attorney races while Session 2 will run from 8-9 p.m. for the Collin County Court at Law and Justice of the Peace races. A meet and greet and for all candidates will be from 7:30-8 p.m.
