Collin College To Inform Public About Diabetes At Annual Event

October 11, 2010 – Collin College is hosting a Diabetic Education Day event from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Central Park Campus in McKinney.

The event is free and open to the public.

Topics include preventing diabetes in children, diabetic complications, diabetic diet and dining out. All topics will be presented in both Spanish and English.

Door prizes will be available. The event will be in the Central Park Campus Conference Center, located 2200 W. University Drive in McKinney.

The event is co-sponsored by the Collin College Nursing Department, Children & Community Health Center and the Texas Agrilife Extension Service.
