Collin College Seminar Addresses Careers for the Common Good
Nov. 3, 2010 – Collin College’s Center for Scholarly and Civic Engagement (CSCE) and Career Center invite the public to participate in the “Careers for the Common Good” seminar from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at Collin College’s Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, in Plano.
During the seminar, community leaders and business professionals will share their experiences in various “Common Good” careers.
In addition, seminar topics will explore careers in the areas of nonprofits, government, health and emergency sciences (nursing, fire, police, paramedics and dental), entrepreneurship, arts and sciences, fundraising and education.
