‘Star Party’ Scheduled For Nov. 17
Nov. 16, 2010 – If you have ever wanted to see planets and stars up close and personal Collin College’s physics department will provide you with this unique opportunity during its Stars of Fall 2010 party from 5:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at the Preston Ridge Campus quad area.
At the party, which is free and open to the public, telescopes will be present to see several solar system planets, the moon, prominent fall stars and deep sky objects.
In case of cloudy skies, the Star Party will be at 5:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 19, at the Preston Ridge Campus quad common area.
