Kid ‘Byte’: Discover Careers In Child Development At Free Program
November 19, 2010 – Students or individuals are invited for free pizza and a glimpse into the field of child development during another “Career Bytes” event Friday, Dec. 3.
Career Bytes is an educational program that is tailored towards current and prospective Collin College students and focuses on educating these students about different associate of applied science (AAS) majors and how they can translate those majors into real-world careers.
Hosted by the Global EDGE Tech Prep Consortium, the latest “Career Bytes” will include an optional tour of the exemplary Early Childhood Lab from 11:30 a.m.-noon followed by the program and lunch until 1:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. It will take place at the Living Legends Conference Center located at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.
Learn more about Collin College’s nationally-accredited child development program and about different career opportunities in the field. The panel of speakers includes a Collin College graduate, a teacher, regional recruiter and preschool owner.
