Dream On: Annual Speech Competition Keeps Dr. King’s Message Alive

February 11, 2011 – Collin College will host its fourth annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. “I Have A Dream” Speech Competition at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 22.

The public is welcome to attend the free event.

The competition is open to Collin College students only. Registration closes at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 15.

First, second and third place finishers will receive scholarship money.

The “I Have A Dream” Speech Competition is presented in honor of African American History Month by the Collin College Department of Communication and Humanities.
