Call for Papers for Undergraduate Research Conference

February 14, 2011 – Collin College is seeking papers for its second annual Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Student Research Conference.

Research paper submissions are due Tuesday, March 15.

The conference is open to all undergraduate students from any two- or four-year institution.

Criteria for selection includes scholarly work, defined justification, logical organization, mastery of subject and appropriate citation.

The conference is set for Thursday-Friday, April 28-29 at the Collin College Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. This year’s theme is “Research Across Disciplines.”

Include a detachable cover page with the submission’s title, author’s name, institutional affiliation, phone/fax number, e-mail address and a brief and one-paragraph abstract.

No identifying information is allowed on the abstract itself to ensure a blind review process. The paper itself should contain the author's name.
