Collin College's 'Pre-Admission Partnerships: Transferring to Universities' Workshop Scheduled

Feb 15, 2011 – Are you ready to transfer to a four-year college or university?

If so, representatives from each of Collin College’s pre-admission partner colleges/universities will be present to discuss their program’s benefits, application process, financial aid and scholarships during Destination College and Transfer Program’s “Pre-admission Partnerships: Transferring to Universities” parent and student workshop from 6-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1 in the Living Legends Conference Center on the Spring Creek Campus in Plano.

In addition to discussing ways students can prepare for college, Collin College’s pre-admission partners will meet parents and students during individual breakout sessions and host browsing/information tables. Collin College also will feature advising and admission browsing information tables.

Destination College is a Collin College initiative that helps high school students and their parents to get ready for college, no matter which institution they choose.

This event is the third of a series of spring workshops scheduled to help high school  and first-semester Collin students prepare for college. While there is no fee to attend, registration is required.  Please register online by going to www.collin.edu/destinationcollege and click on the "Register" button to choose your selected workshop, or call 972.377.1772.  Seating is limited and spaces tend to fill quickly for this session.

The only public college in the county, Collin College is a partner to business, government and industry, providing customized training and work force development.
