Passport Series Takes Attendees To South Pacific

February 18, 2011 – The “Passport to the World” series sets sail for the South Pacific with its latest installment.

Professor Jim Eiting will present “Sailing the South Pacific:  New Zealand and Australia” from 1-2 p.m., Friday, March 4, at the Living Legends Conference Center on the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway.

The presentation will describe the adventures of cruising down the eastern coast of New Zealand, and "crossing the ditch" to southern Australia, according to Eiting.  Topics include the Kiwis, the "Ring of Fire," Maori natives, Tasmanian devils, wallabies and inside information about the world-renowned Sydney Opera House.
