'Passport' Series Puts Focus on Ukraine
March 10, 2010 – The “Passport to the World” series continues Thursday, March 24 with a visit to Ukraine.
Professors Dr. Donald Weasenforth and Frozina Goussak will present “Passport to Ukraine” as part of the Passport to the World Cultural Connections series from noon-1:30 p.m. at the Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.
All “Passport to the World” events are free and open to the public.
Titled “Ukraine: A Country of Contrasts,” the presentation will take participants on a tour of the historical, cultural and geographic contrasts of the country with stops in Kyiv, the Crimea, Odessa and western Ukraine.
