Getting Started At Collin College Workshop Set For March 24
March 21, 2011 – If you are planning on attending Collin in the summer or fall, the Destination College Program invites you to attend its “Getting Started at Collin College” workshop from 6:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 at the Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center in Plano.
This workshop will walk new Collin College students through each step of the process to get started, from admissions and testing to advising.
Representatives from various services departments will also be available to answer individual questions.
Destination College is a Collin College initiative that helps high school students and their parents to get ready for college, no matter which institution they choose.
This event is included in a series of spring workshops scheduled to help high school and first-semester Collin College students prepare for college. While there is no fee to attend, registration is required. Seating is limited and spaces tend to fill quickly for this session.
