Psi Beta Honor Society Achieves National Acclaim

August 19, 2011 – Collin College’s chapter of Psi Beta received two prestigious national honors.

The chapter of the national honor society in psychology for community and junior colleges recently received the Ann G. Robinson College Life Award and the 2010-11 Chapter Excellence Award.

The Ann G. Robinson College Life Award was presented to Collin College at the Psi Beta Reception and Awards Ceremony Aug. 6 in Washington, D.C. It is awarded for an innovative, resourceful and useful chapter project or program that uniquely promotes the quality of two-year college life and advances the discipline of psychology and Psi Beta.

The Chapter Excellence Award is awarded to all chapters that meet or exceed chapter excellence standards that reflect Psi Beta’s mission.
