Continuing Education Offers Bookkeeping, Human Resources, Real Estate, Electrician Courses

Aug. 25, 2011 – Collin College’s Continuing Education is offering courses for students who want to work as a bookkeeper, human resources, real estate professional or electrician.

Bookkeeper

On Thursday, Sept. 8, a 42-hour Certified Bookkeeper course will begin to prepare students to take the Certified Bookkeeper (CB) exam from the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB).

Human Resources

Starting on Wednesday, Sept. 21, a 36-hour PHR Certification Exam Prep course will be offered to prepare students for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) exam administered by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).

Real Estate

Real Estate Licensure Courses will begin on Monday, Sept. 26 at the Preston Ridge Campus in Frisco. The series of courses are Principles 1 and Principles II, Law of Agency and Law of Contract. Another session will begin Oct 31.  These courses

Electrician

These courses, which are offered starting on Monday, prepare students to take the Texas Real Estate exam. The courses can be taken through the college credit department or through Continuing Education.

            Electrical Code offers a 36-hour course starting on Tuesday, Sept. 20 that prepares students to take the Journeyman Electrician exam and a 48-hour course beginning on Thursday, Sept. 22 that prepares students to take the Master Electrician exam.
