Community Partner Fairs Scheduled at Collin College Campuses

Sept. 13, 2011 – Collin College students, faculty and staff who wish to make a difference in communities throughout Collin County are encouraged to attend Collin College’s Community Partners Fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at the Central Park Campus Atrium, 2200 W. University Drive, in McKinney.

During the fair, interested volunteers can meet and greet area nonprofit organizations, city government departments, social service agencies, educational institutions, health services and art agencies to learn about volunteer opportunities.

Collin College will host additional Community Partner Fairs from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28 in the Cougar Den at the Preston Ridge Campus, 9700 Wade Blvd., in Frisco, and from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29 in the Spring Creek Campus’ Atrium, 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy., in Plano.
