Continuing Education Offers CompTIA and Computer Security Certifications

Sept. 16, 2011 – CompTIA Certification 36-hour courses for Network+ and Security+ will be offered through Collin College’s Continuing Education at the Courtyard Center, 4800 Preston Park Blvd., in Plano.

CompTIA Net+ starts on Saturday, Oct. 15, followed by CompTIA Security+ on Saturday, Nov. 5. These classes prepare students for the respective CompTIA certification exams.

Students who have completed CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ courses, or have equivalent experience, can enroll in additional courses to prepare for computer security certification exams. The Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) course starts on Friday, Oct. 14; Certified Ethical Hacker starts on Monday, Oct. 17; Certified Hacking Forensics Investigator starts on Monday, Nov. 21.
