Annual Pottery Sale Coming Nov. 30-Dec. 1

November 16, 2011 – The annual Student Artist Pottery Sale is set for Wednesday-Thursday, Nov. 30-Dec. 1 at the Spring Creek Campus atrium.

The sale will feature hand-thrown or hand-built pottery, ranging from bowls, plates, bottles, vases, pitchers, teapots, mugs and sculptures. The Student Artist Pottery Sale is open to the public with free admission.

Pieces, which are utilitarian, functional, decorative and unique, are made of stoneware, porcelain and earthenware.

Hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m. on both days. The Spring Creek Campus is located at 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, in Plano.

A portion of the Student Artist Pottery Sale’s proceeds benefit Collin College’s ceramics department.

Collin College serves about 53,000 credit and continuing education students annually and offers more than 100 degree and certificate programs.
