Gallery Showcases Beginning Student Artwork

January 10, 2012 – Collin College’s THE ARTS gallery will feature the work of beginning art students in its latest exhibition.

The Beginning Students Art Show runs from Monday, Jan. 9-Thursday, Jan. 26. A reception is set from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 26 at the gallery.

Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.

Pieces from beginning art students at Collin College will include art metals, ceramics, sculpture, painting, watercolor, drawing, printmaking, digital art, photography, and 2D and 3D design.

THE ARTS gallery is located at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Gallery hours are: Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
