    Auteur Film Series Screens 'Being There'

    March 7, 2012 – With the focus of the small screen on the big screen, the Auteur Film Series will show the Peter Sellers classic, Being There.

    The free screening is at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, at the Living Legends Conference Center, located on the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano.

    The event is open to the public. The film is rated PG. Some material may not be suitable for all audiences.

    Being There stars Sellers as Chance, a simple-minded gardener, who has gleaned everything he knows from the TV. When his wealthy employer dies, Chance is thrown into the streets of Washington, D.C. where his gardening advice is interpreted as deep political commentary.
