Math Summer Bridge Program Opens Registration
March 29, 2011 – High school seniors looking to enter college in 2012 have an opportunity to refresh their math skills by applying to be a part of Collin College’s Math Summer Bridge program.
Presented by Destination College, the 2012 Math Summer Bridge Program is scheduled from Monday, June 11-Thursday, June 28.
Participants have the choice of attending sessions from 10:10 a.m.-12:10 p.m. at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano, or from 1-3 p.m. at the Preston Ridge Campus, 9700 Wade Blvd., in Frisco.
Students must attend sessions at one site.
With college on the immediate horizon, students will gain confidence in solving math equations, improving college math placement test scores and learning from Collin College math professors.
The Math Summer Bridge Program is free, but students must apply to the program in order to be eligible to participate. Seating is limited.
Math placement testing will be required as part of the application process. The Math Summer Bridge Program is an intensive three-week session and participants should plan to attend the entire time.
All application materials and testing should be submitted by 5 p.m., June 1.
