Collin College Schedules New Student Orientations

Sessions available for new students, parents, non-traditional students, veterans

July 1, 2012 – Boot up your college career at one of Collin College’s New Student Orientations

This year’s theme is “Student Success: Where’s the App for That?” All students are encouraged to attend. The free sessions will provide an overview of all available resources, services and opportunities at Collin College.

New Student Orientation sessions are not come-and-go events.

This year’s schedule is as follows:

For New Students
All sessions are scheduled from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center

  • Thursday, July 26
  • Saturday, Aug. 11
  • Thursday, Aug. 23
    This orientation will include a special breakout session for veterans.

Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center

  • Tuesday, July 24
  • Saturday, Aug. 4
  • Tuesday, Aug. 14
    This orientation will include a special breakout session for veterans.

Central Park Campus Conference Center

  • Thursday, Aug. 9

For Parents
All sessions are scheduled from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center

  • Saturday, Aug. 4

Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center

  • Saturday, Aug. 11

For Non-Traditional Students
These sessions are for individuals attending college after a break after high school. All sessions are scheduled from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center

  • Tuesday, Aug.  7

Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center

  • Tuesday, Aug. 21

The Central Park Campus is located at 2200 W. University Drive in McKinney. The Preston Ridge Campus is located at 9700 Wade Blvd. in Frisco. The Spring Creek Campus is located at 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

Lunch will be provided for all sessions held from 9:30 a.m-3:30 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres will be served for all sessions held from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
