Auteur Film Series Screens To Kill A Mockingbird
Oct. 10, 2012 – Collin College’s Auteur Film Series will screen the 1962 movie To Kill a Mockingbird.
The free screening is at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Spring Creek Campus Living Legends conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano. Open to the public, the film is rated PG.
To Kill a Mockingbird, which received three Oscars, is based on the beloved novel by Harper Lee. The film is about Atticus Finch, a lawyer in the Depression-era South, who defends a black man against an undeserved rape charge and his children against prejudice. To Kill a Mockingbird stars Gregory Peck, John Megna and Frank Overton.
