Collin College to Host "Communication Means Business" Panel
Oct. 26, 2012 – In the business world, entrepreneurs and key executives often spend majority of their time working to impact their “bottom line.” During this process, however, many businesses forget how big of a factor communication – internal and external – is in this equation.
To learn just how important communication is to business, the public and area businesses are invited to Collin College’s free “Communication Means Business” panel discussion at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center, 9700 Wade Blvd., in Frisco.
The panel discussion will cover topics ranging from the role of communication sales, customer service, employment, training, group and team interaction to organizational culture. Refreshments will be provided.
Panelists will include:
- Charlie Capers, owner, Trilogy Circuits, Inc.
- Eric Vargus, finance manager, Army-Air Force Exchange Service
- Jamee Jolley, president, Plano Camber of Commerce
- Paul Boyd, president elect, Frisco Chamber of Commerce
- Scott Mayo, director of training (West Coast), Boston's Sports Bar and Grill
