Collin College Celebrates Constitution Day

September 3, 2013 - Collin College invites students and the Collin County community to participate and celebrate Constitution Day 2013 on Tuesday, Sept. 17. All events are free and open to the public.

Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano

From 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., the Spring Creek Campus will host a Constitution Day game show, reading of the Constitution, court case presentations and Constitution comment boards in the Atrium.

Preston Ridge Campus, 9700 Wade Blvd. in Frisco

Preston Ridge Campus faculty will present a symposium on gay rights from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. in the Conference Center.

Central Park Campus, 2200 W. University Drive in McKinney

From 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., Dr. Will Geisler will present on the landmark Roe V. Wade case in the Conference Center.

Constitution Day at Collin College is sponsored by the Department of Political Science, in partnership with the Center for Scholarly and Civic Engagement, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Student Government Association and Student Life.
