Rock the Vote at Collin College

September 15, 2013 – Register to vote at upcoming Rock the Vote events at Collin College.

Each event is scheduled from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 1 in the Preston Ridge Campus Cougar Den, 9700 Wade Blvd., Frisco. The remaining Rock the Vote events occur on Wednesday, October 2 in the Spring Creek Campus Atrium, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano and on Thursday, October 3 in the Central Park Campus Atrium, 2200 W. University Drive, McKinney.

To be eligible to register to vote in Texas, you must:

  • be a United States citizen;
  • be a resident of the county;
  • be 18 years old (you may register at 17 years and 10 months);
  • not be a convicted felon (unless a person's sentence is completed, including any probation or parole)
  • not be declared mentally incapacitated by a court of law
