Leaving A Legacy: Collin College Welcomes Organ Donation Advocates

September 26, 2013 – As part of its Distinguished Speaker Series, Collin College will welcome organ donation advocates and Coppell residents Todd and Tara Storch from 7 – 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Living Legends Conference Center located at the Collin College Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. The event is free and open to the public.

The Storches created the Taylor’s Gift Foundation after they lost their daughter Taylor in a 2010 skiing accident and made the decision to donate her pancreas, corneas, heart, kidneys and liver. They then wrote the book Taylor’s Gift about their daughter and how they found new hope in donating her organs to improve the health of others.

The Taylor’s Gift Foundation focuses on increasing official organ donation registries and providing support to those affected by organ donation.
