Collin College Hosts Veterans Week Activities
October 29, 2013 – Collin College invites the public to partake in weeklong activities beginning Monday, Nov. 4 in honor of Veterans Day.
Activities including a district-wide Blue Star Mothers donation drive as well as Lunch and Learn information sessions at the Spring Creek, Central Park and Preston Ridge Campuses. The public can also participate in a U.S. Marine Corps Birthday Celebration at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11 at the Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center and the Veterans Day BBQ from noon – 1:30 p.m. at the Central Park Campus Pike Hall, Spring Creek Campus Atrium and Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center.
Veterans Day activities will be held at the Central Park Campus, 2200 W. University Drive, McKinney; Preston Ridge Campus, 9700 Wade Blvd., Plano; and the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano.
Veterans Day is sponsored by the Center for Scholarly and Civic Engagement, Collin Serves, Student Life, Collin Counseling Services, Access Office and Student Veterans of America Collin College.
