Destination College Mini-Assessment And Workshop To Prepare High School Students For
College Admission Testing
Nov. 6, 2013 – For many institutions, standardized test scores hold a large weight in college admissions decisions. To aid students in earning the best score possible, Collin College’s Destination College Department will host “The Princeton ReviewTM: ACT/SAT Mini-Assessment,” a workshop that aims to make students aware of how they would currently score on the two major tests, from 10 a.m. - noon on Nov. 16 at the Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center, 9700 Wade Blvd. in Frisco.
The Princeton Review'sTM assessment is a combination of questions representing the SAT and ACT. By using this tool, students can determine which test is better suited for them. Following the 45-minute assessment, Princeton ReviewTM representatives will explain the differences between the tests and review the material with the students. Please note: This is a student only session.
